New Delhi: An unplanned disclosure or a low-profile release, but HTC's latest phablet device, the HTC One E9+, is out on the company's China website that shows an improved display screen.
The images show the phablet with a 7.49mm-thick half-metal, half-plastic body with a 5.5-inch quad HD 534 ppi display- the sharpest screen ever to be used on an HTC phone. However, the specification sheet on the company website indicates that the phablet features a 1080p resolution and a 2GB RAM.
A report on Engadget noted that the official website states a 20 megapixel camera, while the specification sheet reads a 13 million pixel main camera.
The HTC One E9+ phablet includes a 64-bit, 2GHz octa-core processor from MediaTek, 16GB of internal storage- expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, and support for dual-SIM.
It is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery and sports the trademark BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers. It supports multi-mode LTE along with 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
The website doesn't note the price or the release date of the product.
