Apple has decided that the new iPhone 16 launch gives them the room to cut the prices of the older iPhone models in the market. The iPhone 16 event excited millions primarily because they all get the new Apple Intelligence features, which the older iPhone models like the 15 and 15 Plus will not get because of the hardware limitations.

As you can see here, the iPhone 15 is now Rs 10,000 cheaper than its launch price, which is also the case with the 15 Plus model which is now available for Rs 79,900. If you are still happy to buy the older iPhone 14 Plus model, you can get it for under Rs 70,000 and the iPhone 14 new price in India is Rs 59,900. Even the iPhone SE costs less now and continues to exist in Apple’s lineup, at least till the rumoured iPhone SE 4 launches next year.
These models will remain in Apple’s catalogue officially but some of the popular iPhones like the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max with AI support have been discontinued by the company. That’s not all, Apple Watch Series 9 and AirPods have also been taken off its official store this week.
