The Karbonn Sparkle V is one of the three Android One handsets launched by Google in partnership with Indian handset markers. Other two include the Micromax Canvas A1 and and the Spice Dream Uno
With Android One, Google aims to improve the quality of hardware and software by giving handset makers a frame of reference.
