Nothing Phone 2a Price Details Revealed, Could Be A Lot Cheaper Than Phone 2
Nothing Phone 2a could be made available in two variants: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB, and it may cost much less than the Nothing Phone 2.

Earlier this month, key details about Nothing’s purported budget smartphone, the Nothing 2a, surfaced online. The smartphone, as per reports, is expected to debut at The Mobile World Congress 2024.

While the Carl Pei-led brand has been tight-lipped about the said mobile device, rumours are now beginning to pile up, and now, after information about its camera system leaked, new information—courtesy of tipster Roland Quandt—has come out, including the price, colour options, and basic configuration of the Nothing Phone 2a.

As per Quandt’s post on X (formerly Twitter), the Nothing Phone 2a could be made available in two colourways: black and white. He also mentions that the device will ship with 8GB RAM and 128GB memory in the base model, and the same could be priced sub EUR 400, which converts to around Rs 37,000 but we expect the price of the Phone 2a could be closer to Rs 32,999 in India when it launches.

Moreover, he also hints that the Nothing Phone 2a could be offered in a higher tier with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Notably, this leak corroborates with what tipster Yogesh Brar reported earlier this month when he said that the said device could be priced around $400.

With that out of the way, other details about the same device have also leaked. Smartprix, too, published a report that claims the Phone 2a will be equipped with a dual-camera setup consisting of the 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN9 sensor, which comes with a 1/1.5-inch sensor size and 1.0-micron pixel size. The secondary ultrawide lens, on the other hand, could be a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultrawide unit that comes with a 1/2.76-inch sensor size.

Additionally, coming to other specifications, it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip and feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
