Scary WiFi Name Grounds Flight
The Qantas flight landed two hours behind schedule in Perth as a result of the incident.

A WiFi name sparked off a security scare on a Qantas plane in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, reports The West Australian.

A passenger on boarding the Qantas flight QF481 noticed a suspicious name on the WiFi menu on her phone and alerted the crew.

The WiFi name - Mobile Detonation Device - was enough for the captain to ground the flight and attempts were made to locate the device transmitting under the name. The device, however, couldn't be located and the plane was cleared for take-off.

Some of the passengers felt unsettled by the incident and deboarded the flight, causing further delays.

The flight landed two hours behind schedule in Perth.
