Xiaomi now starts selling Mi 4 and Redmi Note 4G in The Mobile Store outlets
The two phones will be available first in the 55 stores of Delhi and then in other cities, covering the top 300 stores of The Mobile Store across the country.

New Delhi: Expanding its presence in offline retail, Xiaomi has now partnered with The Mobile Store in India and has announced the availability of the Mi 4 and Redmi Note 4G smartphones in the stores starting March 28.

"Each of the The Mobile Store will have a live Mi Zone where customers can, experience Xioami's phones - Redmi Note 4G and Mi 4. These Mi Zones will also serve as an after sales service point for any assistance that customers may require after purchasing the phones," says Xiaomi India head Manu Jain.

The two phones will be available first in the 55 stores of Delhi and then in other cities, covering the top 300 stores of The Mobile Store across the country. The phones will be available in the stores at the same prices as on Flipkart.

This is Xioami's second move in the offline retail model. The Chinese smastphone giant has been selling the Redmi Note 4G smartphone through Airtel stores since late last year. The company, however, will continue to sell its phones through its e-commerce partner Flipkart as well.

Xiaomi seems to be aggressively strategising for the Indian market. The five-year-old company recently introduced its official Mi India online store in the country. The company though so far has been selling only accessories on its official e-commerce store.
