Anupamaa Twist: Anuj To Be Held Responsible For Samar's Death

Anupamaa, one of the most popular daily operas, headlined by Rupali Ganguly, is about to come up with some significant plot twists in the upcoming episode. The daily soap, which also stars Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in important roles, has dominated the TRP charts since its inception in 2020. Even after three years, the serial continues to enjoy the same popularity among viewers. As per Anupamaa’s latest promo, the role of Samar — the youngest and most beloved son of Anupama, played by Sagar Parekh might come to an end. The promo indicates that a great tragedy is about to befall the Shah and Kapadiya families.

The promo shows Samar and his wife Dimpy announcing their pregnancy which makes Anupamaa and the entire family overjoyed. While everyone seems to be in a celebratory mood, things soon take a turn for the worse. Anuj urges Samar to attend a party and they leave the house. However, despite Anupamaa’s earnest request to tie a holy red thread, Samar refuses to oblige.

Soon, the scene shifts into a tragic one as Anupamaa is shown distraught when Vanraj, Toshu, Anuj, and Adhik return with what is deemed to be Samar’s dead body. The family mourns Samar’s death, but Vanraj informs everyone that Anuj is to blame for the sudden death, which leaves everyone shocked.

Fans of Anumapaa were left shocked to see the sudden turn of events. One of them said, “This is not good. Not what I was expecting or wanted to see in Anupamaa.” A few others defended Anuj’s character and wrote, “Anuj nahi hai jimmedar. Anuj ayesa kuch nahi karega jis se Anupamaa ka Dil Dukhe (Anuj is not responsible. Anuj can never do such a thing that will hurt Anupamaa).”

Recently, in an interview with Telly Chakkar, Sagar Parekh opened up about being accepted as Samar by the masses. He said, “I have been lucky that way. With the hard work that I have put in, I have been fortunate enough that people accepted me really well and very soon. I don’t have the experience of doing a replacement role. This is my first one. The experience was very new to me and I didn’t know how to react to it. I didn’t focus on the haters. It was a month or so when I felt the viewers accepted me, not everyone but most of them were quite impressed with me.”

Samar is one of the most discussed characters on the show and has been portrayed as Anupama’s strongest support in the family since the show’s inception. Paras Kalnawat previously portrayed the character. Later, Sagar Parekh was roped in.
