Bigg Boss 16's Sreeijta De And Shiv Thakare's Friendly Banter Is Unmissable

Former Bigg Boss 16 contestants Sreejita De and Shiv Thakare share a good equation. The two bonded well during their stint in the BB House and their camaraderie continues even today. Not long ago, when Sreejita married her longtime boyfriend Michael Blohm-Pape, she expressed sadness over the fact that her “close friends” Shiva Thakare and Abdu Rozik would not be able to attend the wedding. Recently, the old friends — Sreejita De and Shiva Thakare reunited at a fashion show hosted by celebrity designer Rohit Verma in Mumbai organised by Chheda Jewellers. A video of the duo’s friendly banter has now grabbed the eyeballs of their fans.

The video was dropped on Instagram by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on November 7. “Shiv Baba and Sreejita De having a fun moment together giving us all best friends forever Vibe Fun time,” read the caption of the post. The video captured Shiva Thakare dressed in an indigo-coloured sequinned kurta and pajamas interacting with another person at the ceremony. Soon he is joined by Sreejita De who gives Shiv a warm hug from behind. Decked up in a stunning, sequinned black gown, Sreejita was seen having a friendly interaction with her Bigg Boss 16 friend.

During the conversation when Shiv Thakare jokingly asked the paparazzi: “Who is Sreejita?”, the actress gave a witty comeback saying, “Yeh humesha busy rehta hai (He always remains busy)”. The duo then sat down and enjoyed some beverages.

Social media users and ardent Bigg Boss lovers were quick to mark their presence in the comment section, admiring the lovely reunion between Shiva Thakre and Sreejits De. Calling them underrated, one user wrote, “The underrated Shivjeeta”. Many called their meet-and-greet to be like an “oxygen hug”. While Sreejita De was evicted from Bigg Boss 16, Shiv Thakare became the first runner-up. After facing his fears in director Rohit Shetty-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, he will now be seen in the dance-based reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Meanwhile, speaking about Sreejita De, the actress tied the knot with Michael Blohm-Pape on July 1 this year in a grand ceremony in Germany. The couple would be celebrating their first Diwali together. Her upcoming work projects are currently under wraps.
