The singer shared a heartfelt post dedicating it to his wife, Disha Parmar. He expressed gratitude for her unwavering support and love over the years. Moreover, he did not miss to mention their daughter, Navya, and how she completes their family.
Rahul Vaidya celebrated their anniversary by sharing a video from their wedding three years ago on Instagram. The clip shows him applying sindoor to Disha’s forehead and placing the mangalsutra around her neck. He wrote, “Happy 3rd Anniversary to us baby! You are just such a beautiful person inside out and as I always tell you that I could only be married to you! These 3 years have been the most beautiful, easy & special ever! And thanks for giving me our “NABBU” I love you!”
Disha Parmar responded to the post with several crying face emojis. One of their close friends from the industry and Disha’s co-star Nakuul Mehta, also extended his wishes, saying, “Happy happy, you guys.” Fans of the couple also took the opportunity to shower them with wishes.
Meanwhile, Rahul Vaidya is currently seen on the comedy show Laughter Chef. This year, his anniversary coincided with his shoot schedule for the show. While entering the set, he disclosed that he was discussing convincing his wife, Disha, to allow him to work on their special occasion. He stated, “Aaj bada mushkil tha mere liye kaam pe aana. Kyuki anniversary ke din wife ko chod k kaam karna mushkil hota. Maine apni wife ko pyaar se samjhaya hai ke baby dekho kaam karuga toh aage wali anniversary manti rahegi. Toh issliye aaj kaam karne badi mushkil se mujhe choda hai. (I had a difficult time getting to work today since leaving your wife at home on your anniversary is stressful. But I kindly emphasised to my wife that if I continued to work, we would be able to celebrate anniversaries in the future. And that’s how I could come into work on my special day),” as quoted by Pinkvilla.
Rahul Vaidya proposed to Disha Parmar on national television during his stint on Bigg Boss 14. She accepted the proposal, and the couple tied the knot on July 16, 2021. Recently, they welcomed their first child in September 2023.
