Rubina Dilaik, who was on a promotional spree for her Punjabi debut film, stepped away from work to enjoy quality time with her extended family. Accompanied by her twin daughters, sister Jyotika and mother, the actress recently travelled to Punjab to reunite with their relatives. Upon arrival, they received a warm and grand welcome from their family members.
Rubina’s heartwarming collection of pictures, shared on Friday, captured the actress immersed in joyful moments with her family. It was evident that Jeeva and Eedha’s mother received a warm reception upon her arrival in Punjab. The photos showcased Rubina’s brother-in-law and his family engaging in cheerful activities, including cake-cutting to celebrate the actress’s first visit to Punjab since becoming a mother.
One image featured a car adorned with balloons and stars, reflecting the family’s excitement to meet the newborns. Alongside the pictures, Rubina expressed her gratitude, writing, “What a warm #welcome for Edhaa and Jeeva by their Mausa and Mamas.”

Just hours before sharing the heartwarming family pictures, Rubina was spotted at the airport sporting a printed maroon co-ord set paired with white crocs and statement sunglasses. She also carried a white backpack to keep her little ones’ belongings handy. Meanwhile, her sister and mother tenderly carried the adorable girls.

Meanwhile, Rubina’s Punjabi debut film Chal Bhajj Chaliye released in theatres on April 5. A day ahead of the film’s release, the actress hosted a screening of her film during which she told ETimes TV that her husband, Abhinav Shukla, had already left for Punjab. The actress shared that they had so much luggage and required sufficient space for the twins’ belongings. Rubina said, “So, Abhinav took the car four days ago, and he is waiting for them there as they are taking their daughters to meet Abhinav’s extended family.”
Speaking of Rubina’s film Chal Bhajj Chaliye, the film features her alongside Inder Chahal, Mahabir Bhullar, and Gurpreet Bhangu, among others. It is directed by Sunil Thakur.
