In a conversation with Shilpa Shetty on her chat show Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill, the actress revealed a worrying detail about her health and why she can't practice yoga.

Shehnaaz Gill rose to fame following her appearance on Bigg Boss 13. Although she didn’t win the trophy, she won the hearts of the audience. Since then, her life has taken a remarkable turn, as she has been offered numerous projects and the actress has never looked back. Currently, all eyes are on her as she’s all set to feature in a Bollywood film titled, Thank You For Coming, sharing the screen with Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. In addition to her acting career, Shehnaaz has undergone a significant transformation, focusing on her health and fitness. She has openly shared her commitment to self-improvement. However, recently, the actress revealed a worrying detail, that she can’t practice yoga, while in a conversation with Shilpa Shetty on her chat show, Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill.

During her chat, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan fame expressed her admiration for Shilpa and how she inspired her to take up yoga. The actress, in turn, appreciated Shehnaaz’s remarkable transformation, acknowledging her superb and fit appearance. However, Shehnaaz revealed that she had received medical advice against practising yoga and mentioned that she herself injured her back once during one of the yoga sessions.

Shehnaaz Gill shedding some light on the concerning incident explained, “Mereko actually nazar lag gayi hain, ab yoga kar nahi pati, doctor ne mana kar diya. (I have actually been affected by the evil eye, now I can’t do yoga, the doctor has advised against it)." She humorously narrated how she attempted the halasana yoga pose, where the legs go all the way over the head and found it quite enjoyable. However, this enthusiasm took a different turn when she video called her grandparents to demonstrate the pose on her bed. Shehnaaz then pointed to the back of her neck, explaining, “mere taach awaz aayi yaha se," indicating that something had gone wrong. She elaborated, “Uske baad C3, C5 hil gaya," implying that she experienced a spinal cord issue due to the asana.

Upon hearing about the Bigg Boss fame situation, Shilpa Shetty revealed that she had also dealt with spondylosis issues related to her C4 and C5. She explained that she had turned to yoga to help solve these problems and straighten her spine. Shilpa offered advice to Shehnaaz and highlighted that “Araam araam se karo aur sahi technique ka use hona bohot important hai."

Meanwhile, Shilpa has made her big screen return with her recent release, Sukhee, which has garnered a positive response from audiences. Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill is gearing up for the release of Thank You For Coming, in which she stars alongside Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi in key roles.
