Fitness is all about enjoying the process rather than just concentrating on the results. Even though results are extremely important, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to give up on your favourite food to achieve your goals. That sums up what Ankur Warikoo, a well-known author, entrepreneur, and content creator, has to say about his incredible transformation that shook the internet. Recently, Ankur Warikoo shared his pictures of losing 10 kg in just 12 months to get a lean body. Much to everyone’s surprise, the content creator has now revealed that he didn’t compromise on chole bhature and sweets during his weight loss journey and had his favourite food on most of the days.
Explaining his fitness regime and diet intake, Ankur took to the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) and wrote a long post explaining them. He said that the first step everyone needs to take to get lean is to track how many calories they are consuming.
The ONLY way to lose fat/weight in the body is to get to a calorie deficit.Which means, you consume lesser calories than you spend. When we get to a 7000-7500 calories deficit, we lose ~1kg of fat.(the reverse is also true – 7.5K calorie excess = 1kg fat gain) pic.twitter.com/sQdZQj0JgV

This means that we need to consume fewer calories than you do. Continuing in his post, he also mentioned the diet plan that he consumed. This included whey protein, nuts, paneer, eggs, fruits, pulses, vegetables, and curd, among other things.
My usual diet (eggetarian)930am: Whey Protein 1 scoop + Creatine + 1 walnut + 4 almonds + 4 cashew nuts + 5-6 raisins + supplements
11am: 200gm raw paneer, or tofu or tempeh. Or 3 egg whites (rarely – don't like eggs). Or daal chila.

Along with that, he also shared a complete list of supplements that he took to shed body fat and build muscles. As he talked about his goal to get a 7,500-calorie deficit every two weeks, he emphasised that he even ate his favourite food at times. He wrote, “Of course, I had days where I had chole bhature and sweets—those were not rare but quite common.” He added that he used to stay in a deficit after having cheat meals and lifting weights to build muscles.

In addition to that, Ankur shared that he used to have the same meals just to keep a check on his calorie count. He also emphasised that he gave a lot of importance to his sleep and used to sleep for at least seven hours.
Earlier, while sharing his transformation pictures, Ankur Wariko also revealed that in 2012 he was diagnosed with a medical condition called avascular necrosis, which resulted in the decay of his right hip bone. He also added that, at the age of 32, he was advised by the doctors to stop talking. Later, following the path of fitness helped him overcome his challenges.
