After grabbing eyeballs for a unique pitch on Shark Tank India Season 2, GD Prasad, founder of coffee brand VS Mani & Co., has now reached out to the Indian Railways and made yet another unique pitch. In his recent appeal, the Bengaluru-based entrepreneur has urged the Ministry of Railways to include South Indian brands aboard the Vande Bharat trains in the region. In a post shared on his X handle, Prasad, while lauding the Indian Railways regarding the services provided by Vande Bharat trains in India, further offered to serve filter coffee and other South Indian snacks to passengers.
“We’re delighted by the world class Vande Bharat in the South. Request your support w/ more brands from our region represented in the snack tray. We’d be honoured to serve filter coffee & South Indian snacks if you give us an opportunity,” GD Prasad wrote while mentioning the Ministry of Railways, PMO India, and Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

A user wrote, “We’re hoping you will finally make us feel at home on the Vande Bharat with delicious #vsmani filter coffee. I can assure you, our bookings will increase. We love your filter coffee decoction!”, while another commented, “Filter coffee on Vande Bharat would be perfect.”
“That is good news. Railways should consider,” a third user commented.
