Gaurav Taneja Aka Flying Beast Faces Backlash For Bursting Crackers Near Cows
In now-viral video, 'Flying Beast' Gaurav Taneja is bursting crackers with wife Ritu Rathee near a cow barn, frightening animals.

YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, who is famously known as Flying Beast to his millions of fans, has been facing the wrath of the Internet after a video of him bursting firecrackers went viral on social media. While many are criticising him for contributing to air and noise pollution, others were particularly upset by the location he chose to burst crackers – near a cow barn, where the loud fireworks frightened the animals.

The now-viral clip is a part of a longer video titled, “Something special @ Diwali.” In the video, both Taneja and his wife, Ritu Rathee, can be seen making halwa for themselves, their kids and the workers who work on their farm. The video shows the workers helping with tasks like stirring semolina in ghee and slicing dry fruits for garnish. While the Diwali celebrations seemed wholesome at first, viewers were “saddened” at the sight where Taneja and his family are bursting firecrackers near the cowshed.

After watching the video, an individual wrote, “Just when i thought they couldn’t go any lower, they do this. Wow.”

“This is quite literally saddening,” said yet another.

A third posted, “I’m proud of myself for not watching even a single video of them but this time can we please just mass report them. Both husband and wife have stooped so low. Do they even realise what are they doing? Using fireworks so close to animals….”

“At this point, we should all mass report them and their accounts,” suggested a fourth.

A fifth commented, “So sad. Is there any action we can take against them? Poor cows.”

“Where is PETA now and all the social workers? Why everyone is keeping quite when we clearly see how scared the animals is and how they are bursting loud crackers barely feets away from animals that they milk for their money?” expressed a sixth.

In March this year, Taneja and Rathee welcomed their first desi gir cow at their farm. In a joint post with his wife, Taneja wrote, “Our first Desi Gir Cow arrives at our farm. These are the purest breed of our indeginous desi cows.”

He continued, “They posses imense health benefits to humans as mentioned in our Veda’s and Purana’s.”

“Unfortunately only 5-7% of pure desi breeds have remained as their milk has a low fat quantity and they produce less milk as compared to HF/Jersey breeds,” Taneja concluded.
