While fans were only left guessing, some were convinced about a possible collaboration amid the IPL season.

Meanwhile, Sachin has been away from competitive cricket action for a long time now, having announced his intenational retirement back in 2013. On the other hand, both Dhoni and Rohit are no longer the captains of their respective IPL teams. While Hardik Pandya replaced Rohit, CSK chose Ruturaj Gaikwad as their new skipper.
