Lucknow PhD Student Sets Unique Record By Getting Over 1,000 Certificates
Neeraj Prajapati achieved this feat by taking part in over a thousand conferences, seminars, training, lectures, webinars, meetings, workshops, and quizzes.

A PhD student from Lucknow has stamped his name in the India Book of Records. Neeraj Kumar Prajapati, a research student in the Horticulture Department at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), has accomplished this milestone with fervour and determination.

He achieved this feat by taking part in over a thousand conferences, seminars, training, lectures, webinars, meetings, workshops, and quizzes, and getting over a thousand certificates. Neeraj is currently leading research under Professor Sanjay Kumar in the Horticulture Department at BBAU.

Hailing from Varanasi, Neeraj Prajapati shared that his father is a farmer. He added that he has a passion for earning certificates, and accolades which pushed him to attend several awareness programs, conferences, debates and other events for his betterment. He even timely participated in such activities, earning several certificates along the way.

His name has been recorded in the India Book of Records. He performed well in all the programmes he attended, earning certificates for each one. When Neeraj realised he had received over 1,000 certificates, he submitted his achievement to the India Book of Records. His name is now officially registered and has become a proud moment because no one has attained this feat before.

Neeraj Prajapati shared that he never thought that he would set a record when joining these programmes. Now that he has achieved this milestone, he plans to focus on achieving other records in his name in the future.

Some time back, in 2022, a boy named Govind Ramachandran dropped out of computer science engineering in 2013. He started a BA in English in 2014. In 2015, he survived a near-death accident but graduated in 2019 and joined UST in 2020. In just two years, he attained a feat in three globally recognised record books. Govind Ramachandran earned 90 certifications, completed 3,000 courses, and acquired 1,800 badges.
