A snake rescuer in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, recently encountered a massive cobra in a toilet commode of a house. The video of the incident has left online users both horrified and amazed.
The clip was shared on Instagram by Rajesh Jat, a wildlife rescuer. In the video, Rajesh is seen entering the bathroom where the cobra has taken refuge. Initially, it is difficult to locate the cobra but Rajesh uses a hose to lure the cobra out of the commode with a stream of water.
As the cobra comes out of the toilet, the tension in the video rises. He, without wasting any time, grabbed the cobra by its tail and took the struggling reptile out of the bathroom. The video reveals that the snake is an Indian spectacled cobra, known for its highly venomous nature.

In an interview with Times Now, Rajesh recounted the nerve-wracking encounter with the cobra which took place on the night of April 1. He explained that a resident from Indore called, reporting a snake sighting in their bathroom. Rajesh advised the residents to keep an eye on the snake from a safe distance but fear led them to lock the bathroom door from the outside. Upon his arrival, Rajesh initially couldn’t locate the snake until he inspected the commode where he found the cobra staring back at him.
“I looked inside the commode and saw something black, which appeared to be the mouth of a highly venomous cobra,” he told Times Now.
Since being posted online, the video has garnered significant attention, amassing thousands of views and a flurry of reactions in the comment section.

In another daring rescue, Rajesh tackled a snake hiding in the front light panel of a scooter. The video shows him gripping the snake’s tail and using an iron rod to remove the scooter’s light panel. Inside, the snake lay concealed, likely out of fear. Determined to extract it, Indori discovered it was a cobra, one of the most poisonous snakes.
The video quickly went viral, sparking a wave of reactions from online users.
