People Can't Decide If This Horse Is Walking Towards Or Away From Them, Can You?

A video of a horse is causing much confusion amongst the netizens. In the video, the netizens are debating whether a horse is walking forward towards the camera or backwards, away from the camera. The video features a black horse, walking against the white snow-filled landscape. This video was first posted by a woman named Alesia Carrie of her black horse called Rudnik but it soon began circulating on various social media accounts. Recently, the popular Instagram account Unilad shared it. The text on the video read, “When your horse is so black in the snow that you can’t tell if he’s walking towards you or away from you…”

So far this clip has gathered over 39,000 likes in less than a day. Commenting on the clip, an Instagram user joked, “I’ve spoken to the horse and it says it’s waking away. He’s my nay-bor. Check out my feed. All abandoned photos.” Another person sarcastically wrote, “The horse is walking away from the troubles in his life.”

People also gave justifications for their observations about whether the stallion was walking forward or backwards. An Instagram user explained, “You could watch the snow when he walks goes in the forward direction that is where we all can tell and prove that it is walking away from us!” Another person urged others to observe the horse’s knee to determine its walking direction and wrote, “It’s towards then it switches to away I Focused on the bending of the knees.”

An Instagram user decisively wrote that the horse is first moving forward and later turns backwards. Recently, Alesia Carrie posted another video of her horse’s confusing walk. She titled this video “Optical illusion house: Round 2” and captioned it, “He will forever be a mystery.” This video also showed Rudnik walking across an icy landscape.

An Instagram user commented on it, “My first thought was away but the more I looked at it I was like maybe toward you because my horse always comes to meet me at the gate.” Another person wrote, “He goes away first I thought he was going straight up to the camera but then I had a closer look and he’s going away.”
