As India was gearing up for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, Queretaro, a city in Mexico, got its first Lord Ram temple on Sunday, January 21. All the rituals were performed by an American priest along with Mexican hosts and the idols were brought from India.
Following this, the temple was then opened for “darshan” to worshippers. The Indian Embassy in Mexico shared the pictures from the ceremony on the X (formally Twitter) platform. “First Lord Ram temple in Mexico! On the eve of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at Ayodhya, the city of Queretaro in Mexico gets the first Lord Ram temple. Queretaro also hosts the first Lord Hanuman temple in Mexico,” the post read.
