Taking a dig at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, whose party lost the UK elections, European Airlines Ryanair has shared a hilarious post that has left social media users in splits. Rishi Sunak had been fighting 14 years of anti-incumbency while battling questions about the cost-of-living crisis as he went into the election. Amid this, Ryanair’s tweet was shared just as the Conservative Party, trailing from the start, secured their first win, three hours after the counting of votes began. Taking to X, the airline’s official social media page said that they have got a ‘seat’ for the outgoing British Prime Minister.
Ryanair is already quite popular for its playful social media posts. The airline has also shared a photo of Rishi Sunak which shows him smiling as he sits onboard a flight. “Don’t worry Rishi Sunak, we’ve got a seat for you,” read the airline’s post.S

A viewer went a step ahead and even talked about what Rishi Sunak would have for his in-flight meal. “You’d have to provide a sandwich, not a baguette or croissant though,” the user wrote.

Meanwhile, in the UK elections, Labour Party leader Keir Starmer has secured the seat of the next Prime Minister with a landslide victory. The Conservative Party also went to election after years of instability and in-fighting which have seen five different prime ministers since the Brexit vote of 2016, Reuters reported.
