Jimmy Donaldson aka Mr Beast, needs no introduction. The YouTube king is without a doubt a go-to entertainer who creates life-changing challenges and games. But more than that, he sets examples of serving the community, and his philanthropic contributions to society symbolise hope and bring smiles to millions of faces. Over the years, the content Mr Beast offers has proven why he has the second-most-subscribed channel on YouTube. The YouTuber is nothing less than an inspiration with his mind-boggling challenges and phenomenal contributions, which are getting bigger and better with each passing day.
Well, this time, the YouTuber is back with another challenge, which is winning the hearts of his audience. It is no secret that Mr Beast loves putting strangers up for a challenge for unimaginable amounts of money. He never fails to bring up new challenges that keep his viewers glued to their phones, and the winner walks away with lakhs or crores of bucks. Now, the YouTube King seems to have taken this challenge to another level.
Recently, Mr Beast decided to change the lives of two strangers, but there is a twist. The now-viral video, which is doing the rounds on the internet and amassing over 91 million views, introduces a guy named Bailey and a girl named Suzie, who have never met each other before. The two have to dedicate 100 days of their lives to win a whopping $500,000 (more than Rs 4 crore approximately).
But this isn’t easy! They would have to stay in a completely white room away from their families, no phones allowed — only to take back a lot of money.
Mr Beast opens to show off the isolation chamber, which is completely white and built specifically for the challenge. The rules are simple: Stay together in the room and take home a safe filled with $500,000. But the catch is that if either contestant wants to leave the isolation chamber, both of them lose the challenge and get no money.
Take a look at the interesting challenge video:
The isolation chamber is filled with basic necessities like food, a separate bed, a private bathroom, and plenty of lights, leading to difficulties in sleeping. But things aren’t that simple when it’s Mr Beast’s challenge. The YouTuber proposes tempting offers to the contestants to make their lives easier in confinement.
However, the two only caved and spent some of their money on Day 40. Bailey opted to keep the Harry Potter books while Suzie asked for coffee priced at $10,000 each. Then, the two spent $20,000 to meet their families on Day 50. Mr Beast had an amazing idea for Day 70, and he asked the participants to outbid him for the amenities that they missed out on. Both bid $100,101 together and earned against Mr Beast’s $69,001.
After this, the participants at the end managed to earn $360,000, or roughly Rs 2.9 crore. They were given the choice to split the prize money or steal it. They both chose to split, and they took home $180,000 (Rs 1.5 crore) each.
It is worth noting that Bailey is a content creator with 77,000 followers on his Instagram while Suzie was featured in an AIRRACK video in the past.
