People use social media for entertainment, knowledge sharing, seeking, and gaining attention and praise from strangers online or proposing marriage. Often, they also resort to making videos of their experiences as well on social media. Recently, a woman’s video caught the attention of the internet when she shared how men do not want to get to know her because of her profession. While a few called the clip to be “clickbaity”, others showered her with lots of love.
The woman shared that she is 37 years old and is single. She can be seen driving a tractor and shooting the clip. She took to Instagram and shared that because she is a mechanic, no men seem to be interested in her. the in-text read, “I am 37 years old, but I am single. Men don’t want to get to know me because I am a mechanic. Am I attractive?”
The internet seemed to be divided over the clip. Some found it to be just “an excuse” while others were in awe of her hard work and also complimented her looks and assured her that she would someday find someone for herself.
A user joked, “Ok, finished making your reel? Now give me my tractor back, I have another 30 acres to do.” Another chimed in, “Men don’t want me cuz I’m a mechanic’ terrible excuse to seek praise online.” One wrote, “Nope, that can’t be true… men love the women who know about metallic organisms.” A confused user commented, “I don’t know if you are telling the truth or not, but hard work- it’s an achievement. You will find everything that you deserve in your life. Amen.” A few others all praised her and called her “gorgeous” and “beautiful” while one asked her to marry him.
It is difficult to figure out if the clip is authentic or not, but it certainly has been gaining traction online.
