This UK House With Many Facilities Up For Sale For Just Rs 31 Lakh But There's A Catch
The cosy home, listed on eBay, has a modern bathroom, an open-plan living room, a kitchen and a dining space.

The soaring prices of real estate have made it challenging for the common man to be able to buy a house. This has pushed people across the globe to look for alternatives. In Britain, a man has grabbed everyone’s attention with his small one-bedroom property listing on eBay. However, what makes the property special is what it is built in and we assure you, it will leave you shocked.

Brits looking for a new and affordable home under £30,000 (approx Rs 31.12 lakh) can consider this one-bedroom property. But, what makes it special is that it is built inside a shipping container. Despite being a compact house, do not underestimate it thinking it may not have facilities for a comfortable living. The 20X8 feet hideaway is a cosy home which has a modern bathroom, an open-plan living room, a kitchen and a dining space. It has electricity and internal plumbing. On eBay, it is on sale for £29,995 (approx Rs 31.11 lakh). The house has been manufactured by Chichester-based firm Cabin Depot.

The shipping container has an insulated floating floor, timber framed insulated and plaster-boarded dry-lined walls and ceilings wrapped in a breathable membrane. It has a matt white finish, white door liners and white skirtings. The house is complete with downlights, double plug sockets, dimmable light switches, extractor fans, mirror sockets, external lights, TV and Wi-Fi fittings as well.

Despite the small and compact size, this cosy home offers high-quality services and the best facilities to make stay comfortable here. The kitchen is completely furnished as well. It has a basin, tap, under-counter storage units, oak worktop, water heater and electric induction hob. The bathroom has an electric shower, a cubicle with a bi-folding door, a vanity basin unit with a tap, a wall-mounted LED mirror and toilet facilities.

This conversion of a small space into a comfortable house is not new. People have often found inexpensive alternatives for living instead of buying homes. From converting old ambulances to transforming RVs, people have been making attempts to live debt-free lives without shelling out exorbitant amounts for buying a house.
