Social media is filled with variety of videos showing human-animal interactions. Some videos show the sweet moments between people and their pets. However, there are other distressing clips where individuals face dangerous reptiles and wild animals. Similarly, people get shivers down their spine when they think about crocodiles, their sensational internet stories and videos has intensified their fears. Recently, an old video resurfaced online, and it features a man consumed alive by a crocodile, which sent shockwaves across viewers. However, a closer examination revealed an unexpected twist. The viral video initially shocked viewers, suggesting a terrifying crocodile attack, but the bloodthirsty creature turned out to be a robot and not the genuine creature while the man appeared to be testing the robot’s functions from the inside.
The video show two men dealing with a large crocodile. Moments later, a hand holding a can of beer emerges from the jaws of reptile. Initially, the person coming from crocodile’s stomach intensifies the tension. However, as the video progresses, the crocodile is revealed to be a fake. Since the video was shared on Instagram, the video quickly went viral and garnered over 2 million views. Initially, social media users felt terrified looking at the video, the spot on performance left many in splits.
Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “Dead crock.”
Another wondered, “I thought the Alligator was hanging him a drink.”
An individual wrote, “My mind is blown lol.”
“He saved the beer, he’s a hero,” comment read.
Another suggested, “Now a bunch of jealous people are saying it’s a plastic and artificial crocodile.”

Meanwhile, crocodile and alligator attacks can be fatal, survival rates depends on multiple reason including the animal’s size, species, attack location and the victim’s response. Generally, alligator attacks are less common and less deadly compared to crocodile attacks due to alligators being less aggressive and typically avoiding human contact. However, alligator attacks can still be dangerous.
In contrast, crocodiles are known for their aggression and higher ability in attacking their prey. Encounters with crocodiles can lead to severe injuries or death, yet survival is possible with quick medical help. Surviving a crocodile attack involves staying calm and attempting to escape without trying to engage with the creature.
