A woman has been asking strangers online to help her. The woman named Chloe from the UK has been asking random people on social media to help her pay bills. On social media, Chloe shared that she needs help getting more money. “I need your help to pay my bills,” she explained. Netizens wonder why she is begging strangers for money on the internet? She said her family had been put in a difficult situation and it was only thanks to her TikTok account that they could afford to put food on the table. She went on to explain that after the birth of their son Tristan, they moved to a nicer area 200 miles from their previous home as it was a better place to raise a child. This meant Chloe had to give up her job and her partner Josh had to relocate, resulting in a massive pay cut.
“I’m embarrassed to ask but this is how you can help me,” said Chloe, adding: “But the situation has gotten even worse as Josh has now received a letter telling him he could be made redundant. So I’m having a real bout of stress. I don’t have any help with childcare because everyone else is working, I can’t put him in a nice daycare, and even if I did, I don’t know if I can really afford it.”
The woman stressed, however, that she doesn’t need money from her viewers. That’s why she called on people to interact with her content as much as possible, so she can earn money through the TikTok Creators Fund.
TikTok authority said: “The funds each creator can earn are calculated through a combination of factors, including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement with the content, as well as ensuring the content complies with our community guidelines and terms of service. Also no two creators or videos are the same, and there are no limits to the different types of content TikTok will support with the fund.”
The Creator Fund amount varies daily and depends on the number of videos published by the community that day, so it fluctuates depending on the amount of content published.
Chloe went on to explain: “Every time you see my content on FYP (For You Page), any kind of like, comment, share, repost or even a cheeky follow will result in my content appearing on FYP again and more people will see me.”
The clip she posted on her account @newtomumclub has since gone viral with over 500,000 views and 90,000 likes. People were quick to respond to the comments, helping the woman get more engagement, so she could earn more money.
