According to the Daily Star website, the woman named Jay from Pennsylvania, USA, shared that she recently got new plaster done on the walls of her house. The plaster was done very nicely, and she was very happy with it. After the builders were gone, she was roaming around her drawing room, inspecting the plaster. After some time, she noticed that one of her pet cats was missing. Initially, she did not take the matter seriously. After some time, she was shocked as she started hearing a strange sound coming from the newly plastered wall of the house. She was so terrified that she dialled the police and requested assistance right away. The police said that she should immediately make a hole in the wall.
After this, Jay recorded the moment on camera. She made a hole in the wall with a knife, and then the sound of her pet cat came from the small hole. She then realised that the builders had sealed her pet cat inside while plastering. Then she started making a big hole in the wall so that the cat could come out. The cat looked quite scared. Jay shared this video on her TikTok handle.
The clip has received 2.4 million views. Users were surprised after watching this video. One of the users said that seeing this made him cry. “How could the poor cat have been inside?” Some people were very angry at the builders who made such a mistake. Many people say that this is not a mistake; the builders might have done this intentionally, and the woman should file a police complaint against them.

As per reports, the woman — a TikTok user named Ashlin Hadden — was startled to hear her cat’s meek voice. It was quick for her to recognise the meek sound coming from behind her bathroom wall. This incident took place when Hadden, who owns an insurance company, engaged a contractor to renovate her bathroom at the same time that she had to be away from home for work-related obligations.
