A jaw-dropping video shows tile expert, Jay Brewer, narrowly escaping a massive snake's sudden attack.

Snakes are some of the most feared creatures in the world, with their stealthy movements, sharp fangs and potent venom often making them the subject of fascination and fear. We have all seen videos where people come face-to-face with these reptiles, leaving viewers in shock. Recently, a jaw-dropping video has emerged online showing a reptile expert having a close call with a massive snake, narrowly escaping its attack and leaving social media users stunned.

The video, posted on Instagram by reptile expert, Jay Brewer, begins with him standing in a room interacting with a large snake inside a box-like compartment. As he discusses the reptile and holds a stick near it, Brewer momentarily shifts his gaze away from the snake. In that split second, the snake lunges at his face in an attempt to strike. “The second I shifted my eyes off, she knew she was ready to jump. That is incredible,” Brewer remarked. Although visibly startled by the sudden attack, Brewer manages to avoid any injuries.

The caption accompanying the video read, “A VERY VERY CLOSE CALL. This big girl struck at me as soon as I turned my eyes away. Snakes aren’t just sneaky, they are also very smart.”

The video was shared online over a month ago and it has since captured significant attention, racking up over 15.5 million views. The comment section is filled with a wide range of reactions from the intrigued social media users.

One user noted, “Man that’s a lot of force with that strike. It probably would feel like a punch from Mike Tyson.”

Another chimed in, “Dude is this not enough reason to quit this job?”

A concerned viewer warned, “Mate I hope I’m wrong and I wish you the best but you and the other girl might have your days counted if you keep fooling around with those massive snakes. Stay safe.”

In response, Brewer reassured, “Mate we’re professionals. Not everything is poisonous. Thank you for your concern though.”

“Maybe she’s telling you she’s had enough and free her into a forest or jungle where she should be – FREE,” a person suggested while another speculated, “I think she was protecting her eggs.”

In a humourous turn, an individual quipped, “She’s in a bad mood since you took her eggs. You gotta sweet talk to her. Lol! Maybe give her a rabbit next time.”

Many couldn’t help but admire the snake’s appearance, with one user commenting, “I mean that colour is amazing tho. She’s beautiful.”

What's your reaction?
