A video of a daring rescue of a young boy from a burning apartment floor is raking in likes. The undated video shows a young boy (6) standing on the corner of a balcony as fire is seen raging inside the apartment. It is clear that the flames will soon reach the boy if he is not evacuated. In a stunning display of bravery and intelligence, a group of men arrange a ladder in such a way that one end of the ladder reaches the boy and another one rests on the balcony below the burning apartment.

Once this ladder is held securely by some people, one person climbs to the boy and carries him down. The way the man manages to carry the boy, while maintaining his balance on the ladder is awe-inspiring. The collective effort and smart improvisation of the group saves a life. This video was shared by a popular Instagram account called Good News Movement on Thursday.

As per the video’s caption, the boy in the video was six years old and he was rescued from the fourth floor of an apartment building. He was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and minor burns. Reportedly this clip was taken in Brazil. Not much is known about the cause of fire or if the boy was alone in the apartment.
