Influencer’s Gender Reveal Party Involves Soaring Jets In Blue Skies, But Netizens Are Fuming
A section of netizens felt Lithuanian influencer Inga Stumbriene and her husband’s baby’s gender reveal announcement was a bit “pompous”.

An influencer’s gender reveal party has left the internet divided because of its “pompous” celebration while endangering the environment. Lithuanian influencer Inga Stumbriene and her husband arranged a trio of airplanes which left smoke-like trails in the sky to reveal the gender of their child.

The planes shot out a blue-coloured powder to reveal the couple is having a baby boy as Inga and her husband stood in front of a balloon setup.

The three planes made a big loop in the air twice as the couple looked up while holding hands. The planes then flew above the couple and fired more blue-coloured smoke.

The planes were not the only items involved. Sparks embedded in the grass area shot out an array of blue confetti and more powdery smoke into the air and mimicked a mini explosion.

The influencer was left confused due to the mixed reactions from the viewers and said she didn’t expect the publicity from the gender reveal video which went viral and has been viewed over 25 million times.

“While we are enjoying indescribable joy and peace at home, it seems like the whole world is literally going crazy for our Gender Reveal celebration. I’ll be honest, I really didn’t expect this when I planned this beautiful and cosy family celebration that touched so many hearts around the world,” she captioned in a different post.

She then went on to thank her grandfather and the team which led the airplane acrobatics.

She, however, faced sharp criticism from some netizens. “The most selfish and wasteful way to do a gender reveal… I’m all for unique gender reveals but this is just plain pompous, arrogant and so over the top… Literally…,” an Instagram user commented on the gender reveal video. The influencer later disabled the comment section of the post.

“Thanks for killing the planet,” one viewer commented. “Already leaving a CO2 footprint before even getting out of the womb,” someone joked, poking fun at the unborn baby.

This is not the first time that over-the-top gender reveals have divided netizens. A TikTok video which went viral earlier this year showed a couple’s gender reveal party where explosive sparks flew dangerously close to trees, threatening a large-scale fire.
