Pakistani media remains mum on the arrest of terrorist in J&K
Just like the arrest of Ajmal Kasab, another young terrorist from Pakistan apprehended by security forces has once again exposed the nefarious designs of Pakistan.

While there is uproar in India over the arrest of terrorist Mohammed Naved from Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistani media has kept mum over the issue. Naved, who was arrested alive on Wednesday, admitted on camera that he came from Pakistan to kill Indians for revenge.

Most Pakistani TV channels merely made only a fleeting reference to the arrest and played the issue down. They kept their focus on border skirmishes and claimed that three people had died in firing from the Indian side.

It is being said that Pakistan media has remained silent fearing that they will be termed anti-national. Media has been targeted in Pakistan in the past when they had reported on the nationality of Ajmal Kasab, the lone terrorist captured during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

Pakistan government owned Inter-Services Public Relations has also remained silent on the arrest.

Confirming the news that their media has downplayed the news, senior Pakistani journalist Mariana Baabar said, "Pakistani media, specially print media, has not reported the news. There has been only a few fleeting references in channels."

However, Baabar said that this case is not like that of Ajmal Kasab. "If India has proof of Usman's nationality, it should share it," she demanded.

Just like the arrest of Ajmal Kasab, another young terrorist from Pakistan apprehended by security forces has once again exposed the nefarious designs of Pakistan.

The arrest of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist Mohd Naved alias Usman Khan has put Pakistan in the dock once again even though it continues to deny that it is pursuing a policy of using terror groups to cause mayhem in India despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Usman's initial interrogation revealed that he is from Pakistan and his aim was to inflict heavy casualties and kill as many Indians as possible.
