Mahindra & Mahindra recently revealed the updated XUV700 Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
The revised version of the flagship Mahindra SUV introduces new features to the cabin, and the automaker offers a new Napoli Black paint scheme on the exterior, giving it a stealthy appearance.
Reportedly, the all-new 2024 Mahindra XUV700 is priced at Rs 13.9 lakh. It can go up to Rs 23 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
The XUV700 was first introduced in the Indian market in August 2021 by India’s leading SUV manufacturer. Since its inception, the SUV has captivated buyers seeking powerful performance, strong road presence, and luxury all in one package. Since its launch, the SUV claims to have sold over 1.40 lakh units, making it the fastest Mahindra SUV to reach this milestone, according to a press release.
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 SUV comes in five different variants, with five, six, and seven seats. The SUV comes in several variations, including the MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L. Furthermore, the bookings for the SUV began on January 15 across the country, and it will be available in dealerships on January 25. The carmaker claims to have increased production capacity to ensure faster SUV delivery.
2024 Mahindra XUV700: Interior, Exterior And Engine
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 resembles the previous model in terms of basic design and silhouette. However, the addition of the new Napoli Black paint option for the AX7L and AX7 variants has given the beefy SUV a boost. These two models also offer the option of dual-tone exterior paint. The striking black alloy wheels and black grille added to the vehicle’s visual appeal.
As per interiors, the Mahindra XUV700 SUV is updated with dark chrome finishes on the air vents and centre console. According to a Mahindra press release, the AX7L variant of the XUV700 features ventilated front seats with first-in-segment memory ORVMs linked to custom seat profiles, as well as the option of captain seats in both the AX7 and AX7L variants.
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 is equipped with a variety of features. The SUV is said to include Adrenox Suite and over-the-air software updates via an integrated e-sim. This software suite includes 83 connected car features, including 13 new ones like EcoSense leaderboard, M lens, and toll diary. Mahindra has also launched a new concierge service, ASK Mahindra, alongside this SUV.
The automaker has also stated that the advanced features on the updated XUV700 are divided into several key areas, including Vehicle Status, Location-Based Services, Third-Party Apps, Prognosis Alerts, Safety, Remote Functions, and Novelty Connected Features. The Adrenox Suite provides these features across all variants, including the AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L.
The SUV’s powertrain has not changed; instead, only its features and appearance have changed. The Mahindra XUV700 SUV from 2024 is available with a petrol and diesel engine. A 2.0-litre turbocharged engine powers the petrol model, while a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel motor powers the diesel version. Both engines are also compatible with the outgoing model. The torque and power figures also stay the same.
