The BMW Long Wheel Base (LWB) is all set to hit the Indian market on June 25. As the launch is just around the corner, the company has started advance bookings for the model. The fully transformed model now can be reserved from BMW’s authorized dealerships across the country.
It has been reported that the upcoming model will not replace the current 5 Series. However, it will be introduced to offer more choices for the target audience, allowing them to upgrade their drive with extended avatar.
What’s New?
Talking about the changes, the tech-loaded model has been already revealed in the country. It features some noticeable changes from both outside and inside. It gets BMW’s signature style twin headlights, illuminated kidney grille, and updated front fascia, which has been complemented by LED headlights setup and improved Daytime driving lights with turn indicators.
Rear Section
Moving towards the rear. The section also received impressive enhancement, which makes it look more appealing in the segment. The company has included an L-shaped fully LED taillight, featuring an impressive chrome finish strip between the lights.
Now, the stretched version now has an improved length of 5,175 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and in height of 1,520 mm.
Interior
The model gets an updated single-unit curved display, which consists of a 12.3-inch Information display behind the steering wheel and a control display with 14.9. It supports all the wireless car connect technology, including Android, Auto, and Apple carplay.
Powertrain Options
As far as the engine-related details are concerned, the brand has kept the information under wrap as yet. The company is likely to share the details on the launch day.
