Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, several flights have been canceled or reduced. In a move to provide a big relief to the flyers, the leading carrier Air India on October 10 introduced an offer, under which the airline is providing a one-time ticket waiver on charges for cancellation or rescheduling the confirmed flights to and from Tel Aviv.

While confirming the news, the airline also made the announcement on micro-blogging site Twitter, which is now known as X. The airline says ” Air India is offering a one-time waiver on charges for rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed tickets on flights to and from Tel Aviv. The offer is valid on tickets issued before 9th October for travel until 31st October 2023″.

The Tata-owned carrier also mentioned 24×7 free customer numbers in its Twitter post, asking interested ones to contact them if needed.
Multiple Flights Cancelled Amid Israel-Palestine Tension
Meanwhile, as the situation started getting tense on the ground in both Israel and Palestine during the ongoing conflict, there are multiple leading international airlines including Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Air France, Emirates, Egypt Air, Dutch carrier KLM, Finland’s Finnair, Norwegian Air, Germany’s Lufthansa, Polish carrier LOT, Portugal’s TAP, United Airlines, and Ryanair stopped the flight services to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport, which considered one of the largest airports worldwide.
It has been reported that the top airlines are monitoring the current situation on the ground, and will resume or remove the temporary restriction on the flights to and from Tel Aviv.
