Mahindra has rolled out its latest version of the Thar, called the Earth Edition, starting at Rs. 15.40 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel AT variant.
This special edition is based on the Hard Top LX 4×4 variant, promising both style and substance for SUV enthusiasts.

The Earth Edition sports a striking Desert Fury color option, featuring a trendy matte satin finish that adds a touch of rugged elegance. The B-pillar proudly displays the Earth edition badging, and the side profile boasts Desert-themed decals for an extra dash of personality. The ORVMs come with Desert Fury inserts, complementing the body-colored grille and alloy wheels adorned with Thar branding.
Inside the Earth Edition, you’ll find a host of exclusive features, including a decorative VIN plate on the dashboard, leatherette seats, Dune-designed headrests, beige stitching, and dual-tone AC vents. The HVAC is housed in a sleek piano black finish, while the steering wheel showcases a dark chrome twin peak logo. Even the gear knob gets a touch of dark chrome accents for added flair.
But the customization options don’t end there. Mahindra offers optional accessories such as custom front and rear armrests, 7D floor mats, and a comfort kit, allowing buyers to tailor their Earth Edition Thar to their liking.
Under the hood, the Earth Edition is available with both the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission, providing flexibility to suit various driving preferences.
