Triumph Daytona 660 Teased Ahead of Its Official Debut on January 9
Triumph teases a powerful sport tourer, possibly Daytona 660. Global premiere Jan 9. Expecting similar 660cc engine as Trident and Tiger 660.

Triumph Motorcycles has dropped a teaser for its upcoming sport tourer, and it might just be the Triumph Daytona 660.

The big reveal is set for January 9, 2024, at 5:30 PM IST.

The sneak peek images showcase the performance bike boasting a dual LED headlight cluster, a sleek & sporty look, and an engine cover proudly adorned with the bold 660 insignia. The bike might share its powerhouse with the Triumph Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, as reported by Motorbeam.

Under the hood, the 660 siblings flaunt a 660cc, 3-cylinder engine generating 80 bhp at 10,250 RPM and 64 Nm of torque at 6250 RPM. The 6-speed gearbox, complete with a slip and assist clutch, propels the machines forward. Furthermore, the Daytona 660 is expected to offer similar power and torque, tuned for an even more exhilarating ride.

For die-hard Daytona enthusiasts, the return of the iconic nameplate is a thrill in itself. Yet, there’s an anticipation for the comebackof the Daytona 765, a two-wheeled legend with an ardent fan following. Triumph’s teaser caption hinting, “THE RULES ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE” in capital letters, adds to the anticipation.

Spotted several times in the international market, test versions of the bike hinted at a sporty riding posture that’s not overly aggressive, sharing many features with the existing 660 Triumph models.

Anticipated to hit Indian roads shortly after its global launch, the Daytona 660 is expected to be priced around Rs. 9.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
