New Delhi: After its successful stint as online taxi-hailing service, Uber is now geared up to test waters in India as motorbike taxi service provider.
Dodging the city traffic is often a task for four-wheelers and in order to save both time and money, the uberMoto service has been launched in Bangalore and allows users to hail a motorbike ride at prices as low as Rs 3/km.
Uber users only need to choose the uberMoto option in the app and request the ride as usual. The motorbike driver will carry an extra helmet for the passenger to wear.
The service is available in selected areas between 7 AM and 9 PM. Uber says that it will be extending uberMoto’s coverage over time.
