Daughter Ira Khan’s wedding was undoubtedly a happy yet emotional moment for superstar Aamir Khan. Days after she married Nupur Shikhare, Ira took to her Instagram handle on Thursday night to share a heartwarming wedding teaser. The video featured several glimpses of their special day.
Ira and Nupur’s wedding teaser began with a glimpse of the groom as he walked with his mother. Next, Ira also entered the venue with her father, Aamir Khan and mother, Reena Dutta by her side. Ira and Nupur then expressed love for each other and got emotional before they shared a lip kiss.
The video also shared several other glimpses from their wedding. Aamir Khan was seen holding his ex-wife Reena Dutta close as they two danced on stage. The former couple was also seen hugging their daughter, Ira. Kiran Rao was also seen getting emotional as she watched them. Watch the video here:

In her wedding video, Ira looked stunning in a white gown with intricate detailing. She wore her hair in a neat bun adorned with white flowers. Ira completed her look with red lipstick and statement earrings. On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a beige tuxedo.
Sharing the video on her Instagram handle, Ira also penned down a heartwarming note which read, “This is only a teaser but neither Ethereal nor us could wait We wanted to celebrate in the mountains, with the people we love. And we did. It was stunning when we were there but we didn’t realised we were getting married in Rivendell ⛰️♀️⛰️ (@nupur_popeye now we have to watch the third Lord of the Rings) It difficult to put all the love and feelings of that day into words. Thankfully, we have this video instead❤️.”
Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, is the founder and CEO of Agatsu Foundation, an organisation dedicated to mental health support. On the other hand, Nupur Shikhare is a recognised fitness coach, consultant, and athlete. The two had a ‘white wedding’ in Udaipur on January 10, days after a registration ceremony in Mumbai. Later, the couple also hosted a star-studded reception in Mumbai.
