Neena Gupta on Tuesday took a stroll down memory lane, treating her fans to a nostalgic glimpse of her “simple wedding” with Vivek Mehra. The veteran actress shared a throwback photo from the special day on her social media offering a peek into the intimate ceremony and also featuring her daughter Masaba Gupta.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Neena shared a photo in which we can see her wearing a simple pink colour saree and sitting with Vivek Mehra who is wearing an ethnic in grey colour. Masaba is wearing a blue colour salwar kurta and holding an umbrella. Not many people are there but still, the intimate wedding looks beautiful.

In a chat show No Filter With Neha, the Badhaai Ho actress revealed how she met her husband Vivek Mehra. “He’s based in Delhi but he was coming to Bombay for some work. And just imagine, that is why I believe so much in destiny and fate. I was in business class, he was somewhere behind. but one lady wanted him to change his seat and that’s how he came and sat beside me. My life would have been so different,” said Neena Gupta.
The actress was recently in the news for her ‘faltu feminist’ comment. A small portion of her podcast interview with Ranveer Allahbadia was shared online in which Neena said it is not necessary for women to believe in the idea of feminism. “I want to say that it’s not necessary to believe in faltu feminism or the idea that women are equal to men,” she said at the time. In a new interview, Neena clarified her stand. She also said the team purposely carried that bit of the chat to create a controversy.
On the work front, Neena Gupta was last seen in Mast Mein Rehne Ka co starring Jackie Shroff.
