Singer Guru Randhawa has chartbusters like High Rated Gabru, Naach Meri Rani and Lahore to his credit in his decade-long career. Now, he is all set to venture into acting. He is currently gearing up for his debut movie titled Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay. He recently shared the release date of the upcoming film. Guru Randhawa’s fans are buzzing with excitement and are eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the theatres. He took to Instagram and dropped a motion poster yesterday, which unveiled the release date as well. The poster showed popout animation of Anupam Kher, Guru Randhawa and Saiee Manjrekar. The caption read, “My journey as an actor starts from 16th February. I want your blessings and love and support like always. The official teaser of the movie was launched today, January 30, 2024. The movie is directed by G Ashok and stars actors like Anupam Kher and Saiee Manjrekar. From the motion poster, it can be assumed that the pop sensation will surprise his fans with his never-before-seen avatar.

Previously, in an interview with Film Companion, Guru Randhawa shared that he was offered many Punjabi movies but he picked what according to him suited him the best. After being a part of the industry for almost a decade, it seems like Guru Randhawa is ready to showcase his acting skills. He had once shared that he was “attracted to the idea of filmmaking.” He always wanted to be a part of the project which had writers, screenplay writers and choreographers. Reportedly, it was always a dream of his to be a part of a big-scale movie with a big star cast.
