Banks across the country will remain closed on June 17 on the occasion of Bakrid/Eid-ul-Azha. Banks will not function in Jammu and Srinagar on June 18 as well. Bank holiday on June 1: The seventh phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for June 1 after six phases were held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20 and May 25. Owing to polling on June 1, banks in various cities will be closed. For phase 7 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024, banks will remain closed in Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Chandigarh.

Constituences, where banks will be closed on June 1, include Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat, Jahanabad, Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, Shimla, Rajmahal, Dumka, Godda, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Anandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Firozpur, Bathinda, Sangrur, Patiala, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushi Nagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Robertsganj, Dum Dum, Barasat, Basirhat, Jaynagar, Mathurapur, Diamond Harbour, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar and Chandigarh.

Bank holiday on June 9: Holiday on account of the Maharana Pratap Jayanti in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

Bank holiday on June 10: Holiday on account of the Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji in Punjab.

Bank holiday on June 14: Banks in Odisha will be closed on this day for Pahili Raja.

Bank holiday on June 15: Banks in the north-eastern state of Mizoram will be closed for YMA Day; and banks in Odisha will be closed for Raja Sankranti.

Bank holiday on June 17: On the occasion of Bakri Eid banks will remain closed across India, except in some states.

Bank holiday on June 21: Banks across many states will be closed for Vat Savitri Vrat.

Banks will be closed on the second Saturday across India on June 8.

Banks will be closed on the fourth Saturday across India on June 22.

Bank holidays on Sundays across India on these dates: June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Online Banking Facilities, ATMs to be Operational

Despite bank holidays, you can transact money or do other things through online banking and ATMs. Bank holidays will not affect these facilities. You can do many bank-related tasks through mobile or net banking during bank closure. All online facilities will remain operational during the bank closure.
