DLF, Bharti Airtel report above expectation sales

New Delhi: Two corporate biggies DLF and Bharti Airtel stunned the market with numbers above expectations in their third quarter results.

Realty major DLF reported a jump of 10.7 per cent in its net sales, taking it to Rs 3,598 crores. The appreciation saw its profits rising to Rs 2,145 crores.

Telecom big boy Bharti Airtel saw its profits surging to Rs 1722 crores from Rs 1614 crores with a revenue jump of 10 per cent in the quarter.

Polls had predicted net sales for DLF to be around Rs 3,457.7 crores and Rs 1681.8 crores for Bharti Airtel.
