Bigg Boss, hailed as one of the nation’s most popular reality TV shows, spans multiple languages across India including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Malayalam. The ongoing 7th season of Bigg Boss Tamil has been generating huge buzz among the audience. Hosted by Kamal Hassan, the reality show started with 18 contestants and premiered on Vijay TV on October 1.
Vinusha Devi recently spoke out against Nixen and the “Bully Gang” for body-shaming her during her stint in Bigg Boss Tamil 7. Her criticism comes in response to derogatory comments made about her body during the Wednesday episode.
In the latest episode, the contestants’ comments about their fellow housemates were exposed. Subsequently, the housemates were asked to identify the individuals who made those remarks. It was revealed that one of them had body-shamed Vinusha and admitted that she was aware of his comments. He had previously apologised to her during her stay in the show.
Vinusha has expressed her wish to convey her gratitude to all those who stood by her against Nixen and to appreciate Vichitra for her support. Notably, Vinusha was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss house.
In a recent statement with the hashtag #StandingForMyself, Vinusha addressed her experience in the Bigg Boss house, highlighting her strained relationship with Nixen. She pointed out that while he apologised for trolling, he never addressed the body-shaming comment.

She further said that even if Nixen were to apologise now, it wouldn’t change his behaviour. She expressed her disappointment with those who had previously advocated for women’s rights but remained silent in this case.
Nixen openly admitted to making a harsh remark about his fellow contestant, Vinusha Devi, and subsequently issued a public apology. He acknowledged that this conversation had occurred between him and Vichitra, who had also made comments about Vinusha.
On the work front, Vinusha Devi is best known for essaying a lead role in the Tamil TV series Bharathi Kannamma and crime thriller N4.
