'Feeling Much Better': Suriya After Rope Camera Falls On Him On Sets Of Kanguva

Tamil actor Suriya, known for his stellar performance in Jai Bhim, has been busy shooting for his upcoming movie Kanguva. Amidst the progressing shoot, a tragic incident occurred on the sets. As per ANI, while shooting a fight scene for Kanguva, a rope camera accidentally fell on the actor.

Media reports claim that the camera hit Suriya’s shoulder leading to an injury. Regarding this, the actor decided to address the accident and update his fans about his well-being by taking to X (formerly known as Twitter). The actor shared a post on X and wrote, “Dear Friends, well-wishers and my Anbaana Fans. Heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of ‘get well soon’ messages. Feeling much better. Always grateful for all your love.”

Fans of the Soorarai Pottru actor have been eagerly waiting for the actor’s one of the highly-anticipating movies titled Kanguva. After the slight injury by the fall of the camera, the shoot for the movie was temporarily cancelled to give him time to relax and recover. As per India Today, the incident of the accident took place at 1.30 a.m. at midnight in EVP Film City. In fact, even the Nasaratpet Police are looking into the situation.

Speaking of the movie, Kanguva, starring Suriya and Malang actress Disha Patani, is directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green in association with UV Creations. The movie is billed as an action drama and the makers are planning to release it in early 2024. They had previously announced the title of the movie with an interesting video. The title teaser clip was set in the night background which revealed an eagle, a dog and a masked warrior riding a horse and a massive army.

Suriya was last seen in Pandiraj’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The movie ended up doing decent business at the box office but his fans were hoping it to be a blockbuster. He has the Suriya43 movie (tentatively titled) opposite Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Varma and Nazriya Fahadh in the pipeline.
