Leo New Poster Out: Vijay Has A Message For Fans; Says 'Keep Calm And...'
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo, starring Vijay, is scheduled for release on October 19.

Seven Screen Studio, the production company backing Vijay’s Leo, ensures fans are always in the loop. They regularly share updates on social media, even before fans request them. Recently, they revealed a stylish poster featuring Vijay in a grey sweater. Now, they’ve released another poster with a similar design.

In the poster unveiled on Sunday by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vijay’s t-shirt displayed an image of the actor running through snowy woods. In the latest poster, Vijay’s image is featured on a revolver, with the caption, “Keep calm and plan your escape.” The photo shows Vijay sitting deeply lost in thought.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo is scheduled for release on October 19. There are speculations that it might be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The film features an ensemble cast including Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautam Vasudev Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan in significant roles, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

There have been speculations that Leo might be an adaptation of David Cronenberg’s A History of Violence (2005). This story revolves around a modest cafe owner who unexpectedly kills two intruders at his establishment. His actions attract national media attention, and when troublemakers come searching for him in their small town, the hero’s dark and violent past is unveiled.

According to reports, Leo is all set to follow the same model that was followed by popular films like Baahubali, KGF, Kantara and Pushpa. Reportedly, the film is expected to be released in two parts, with the first one to tentatively release on October 19, and the second part in 2025. But there has been no official announcement regarding the matter by the makers yet. As per reports, the audio launch event will be held sometime in September. The makers are planning to organise the event in Madurai or Tiruchirappalli rather than Chennai. It has been rumoured that the event will be held on a grand scale and is expected to have almost 50,000 people.
