The Tamil version of the immensely famous reality show Bigg Boss is prepping for a grand launch in September or early October, as per reports. What’s adding more buzz to the show is that two ex-contestants are to enter the Bigg Boss Tamil house this season.
As per multiple reports, actress Oviya and choreographer Sandy are expected to make a re-entry into the house. Actress Oviya was seen in the Bigg Boss Ultimate, the OTT version of the show previously, and Sandy participated in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
Seven contestants are confirmed to enter the shows reportedly, they are Makapa Anand, actress Roshini Haripriyan from Bharathi Kannama, Raveena Daha from Cook with Komali, actor Babloo Prithviraj, actress Rekha Nair, model and actress Darsha Gupta and Mila, who is the daughter of actress Shakila.
South actress Oviya participated in the OTT version of the show named Bigg Boss Ultimate. She gained huge popularity through the show because of her positive attitude and genuineness. But she ended up quitting the show due to medical reasons. During her time on the show, Oviya was frequently targeted by other contestants. Contestants Namitha, Gayathri and Raiza created problems for the actress and Namitha even led the anti-Oviya campaign in the house and told the other contestants to isolate her.
Oviya entered the film industry with the movie Kalavani, in 2010, which was directed by A Sarkunam. She was seen with actor Vimal in the film. Oviya’s birth name is Helen Nelson.
Sandy, whose real name is Santhosh Kumar, is a well-known choreographer in the South Indian film industry. He has worked with superstar Rajinikanth and was on the dance team of the blockbuster Baahubali.
Recently, a promotional video was released for the show featuring the superstar host Kamal Haasan. In the video, he says, “15 contestants amidst 60 cameras in one house noo noo noo!! Two houses for 100 days.” It is going to be broadcasted on the Star Vijay channel, and Disney+ Hotstar.
