The First of the two instances was RR’s home game against Delhi Capital on the 28th of March and the second one was RR’s game on the road against Mumbai Indians at the famous Wankhede in Mumbai in their 1st April fixture.

The ACU reportedly evicted two suspected individuals from the corporate box at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium and handed them over to the police and an FIR was duly lodged against the alleged bookies.

Similarly, a couple of individuals were handed over to the Mumbai Police during the MI vs RR fixture at the Wankhede, however, it turned out to be an incident of mistaken identity as a Marine Drive Police Officer expressed that neither of them had any evidence of untoward activity involving the game on their electronic gadgets.

Notably, the corporate box at the Wankhede Stadium has a strict invite-only policy with no tickets for permit into the exclusive area being sold to the public.

A BCCI official further stated that the ACU has been doing its best to keep elements of corruption away from the money-spinning T20 spectacle.
