The England captain finds himself among legends as he shares a rare feat in Test cricket after picking up his 200th scalp in the first Test against the West Indies.

The England captain continues to prove his mettle in the longest format as he picked up his 200th wicket in Test Cricket to join the legendary Sir Garfield Sobers and Jacques Kallis to share a very special record.

Stokes had been out of action in the bowling front for quite some time recently due to an injury in his left knee. But following the extended break after the India tour, the all-rounder seems to be enjoying his bowling once again.

He copped his 200th scalp to make sure he joins some legendary all-rounders for the record of scoring 6000 runs and picking up 200 wickets in the red-ball format. The 33-year-old got to his milestone after picking up two quick wickets of Mikyle Louis and Kirk McKenzie to get to the rare feat.

Stokes currently sits at third on the list while the South African legend, Kallis sits at the very top with a mammoth tally of 13289 runs and 292 wickets. While he might be far off among the runs, if the Englishman can stay fit, he could very well be in line to cross 300 wickets as well.

The English all-rounder is a solid option with both the bat and the ball. In his bowling return, he was seen swinging the ball which was a rarity during his early days but that shows his growth as a player.

He along with the rest of the England team will hope to see that he remains fit for the upcoming games leading up to the Ashes down under next year where Stokes will look to lead his side to a history series victory, something that is already on his mind.

Regarding the ongoing match against West Indies, England have been in cruise control for most of the match and look on track to secure an innings victory to start the three-match series with a lead and bring an end to James Anderson’s glittering career at the ‘Home of Cricket’.
