IND vs ENG: Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal 'Chilling' in Dharamshala
Dhruv Jurel, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal, shared a photograph on his Instagram story from Dharamshala.

The young members of the Indian team were spotted chilling in the picturesque city of Dharamshala as they geared up for the fifth Test of the ongoing Test series against England. On Saturday, Dhruv Jurel shared a photograph on his Instagram story. The wicketkeeper-batter dropped a selfie featuring his dressing room buddies Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal. The trio was perhaps on the lawn of their team hotel, which was surrounded by beautiful mountains.

After notching three wins in a row, the final game of the five-match series is now a mere formality for the hosts. They made a disappointing start to the campaign, losing the opening Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs. India, however, have bounced back well in the following matches to register an unbeatable 3-1 lead.

Despite having lost the series, England will look to make the most out of the last Test, slated to commence on March 7 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. The weather in the city was quite chilly and humid on Saturday as the sky was covered with dark clouds.

Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal were certainly enjoying the atmosphere and the scenic beauty of the hilly state. They were all decked up in warm clothes. While Jurel and Patidar donned hoodies, Jaiswal sported a black, puffer jacket.

While Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been in impressive form in the series, Devdutt Padikkal has yet to get a chance to make his Test debut. Jaiswal is currently the leading run-scorer of the campaign, having accumulated 655 runs in 4 matches including two double-centuries. Jurel, on the other hand, was named the player of the match in the fourth Test, thanks to his gritty 90-run knock that helped India come out of a crunch situation in the first innings.

Most of the players of the Indian side have already reached Dharamshala. They arrived on Saturday along with the English side. India captain Rohit Sharma could not accompany his team. He was in Jamnagar to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Rohit and some other members of the Indian team are expected to join the squad by Monday or Tuesday. The home side has their scheduled practice session at 9:30 AM on Monday, while England will take the field at 1:30 PM, according to Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s Vishal Sharma.
