Jasprit Bumrah has so far bowled 32 overs in eight games in the current season of the IPL. Apart from his spectacular wicket-taking prowess, Bumrah’s economy rate has been an impressive 6.37 in the tournament till now.
Jasprit Bumrah was in sublime form in the game against Punjab Kings. Defending a total of 192, Bumrah scripted sensational figures of 3/21 in his four overs to win the Player of the Match award. His stunning display with the ball guided Mumbai Indians to a thrilling nine-run victory against the Punjab Kings.

“This was a close game. Much closer than what we thought it would go. Of course, you want to make an impact when the ball does something. In this format, the ball swings two overs. When I want to bowl more, I play Test cricket. That fulfils my desires,” Jasprit Bumrah had said in the post-match presentation.

In their next match, Mumbai Indians will be up against Delhi Capitals. The first meeting between these two franchises had turned out to be a high-scoring one which the Hardik Pandya-led side had, eventually, won. It was not certainly a pleasant outing for the bowlers in that game.
Still, there was one particular bowler who seemed a class apart from the rest and it was Jasprit Bumrah. The Mumbai Indians fast bowler had conceded just 22 runs in his four overs and managed to claim two wickets as well in that game against Delhi Capitals.
