After suffering a shocking defeat by 10 wickets in the first Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, Pakistan will face the same opposition in the second Test at the same venue from Friday (August 30) onwards. The hosts will be eager to put up a big show in the second and final Test of the series and get the better of the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side to save themselves from the embarrassment of losing a Test series at home against Bangladesh.
For the second Test, Pakistan has dropped star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi from the squad. The 24-year-old Shaheen was only able to take 2 wickets in the series opener. In his place, spinner Abrar Ahmed is likely to be part of playing XI. On the other hand, Bangladesh would like to build on the super show and win a second match in a row to seal a historic series in Pakistan.
